     Transcribed from Case: [Zebulon] "moved early in life to Hancock, Massachusetts and settled on a farm about 2 miles west of Shaker Village; he served as a volunteer soldier during the war of the Revolution; was in the battle of Bennington, Vt., under Gen. Stark; at his death in 1792 was buried in his family burying-place on his own farm; was a member of the Hancock family of Shakers."2
