     Transcribed from Case: "born in that part of Lunenburg, Mass., now Fitchburg, May 12, 1749; went to Templeton when a young man and bought a farm there; the house he built there is still standing; in the winter he made shoes; he died of palsy, in Templeton, Sept. 24, 1824."2
