     Esther A. Goodrich was born on 28 November 1831.¹ She was the daughter of Abishai Goodrich and Margaret Smith.¹ She died on 12 October 1851 at age 19.¹

     William Goodrich was born on 26 September 1833.¹ He was the son of Abishai Goodrich and Margaret Smith.¹ He died on 8 October 1851 at age 18.¹

     Hanson Goodrich was born on 2 September 1836.¹ He was the son of Abishai Goodrich and Margaret Smith.¹

     Alexander Goodrich was born on 2 November 1838 at Burnt Prairie, White County, Illinois.² He was the son of Abishai Goodrich and Margaret Smith.¹ He married Margory McDonald Conway of Scotland on 8 May 1872.³ He resided at Osceola, Arkansas.³

     Transcribed from Case: "where he continued to live until 1862, [meaning his place of birth] when he enlisted in Company K, Eighty-seventh Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry; mustered into the service at Shawneetown, Ill; went to Memphis, Tenn; May, 1863, was ordered to report to Gen. Grant at Vicksburg; was through the siege of Vicksburg; July 5, the day after the surrender, went on the Jackson campaign; after the evacuation returned to Vicksburg; left immediately for Natchez and New Orleans; late in September, 1863, went to New Iberia, La; in December, 1863, was ordered to report to the adjutant-general of Illinois; assigned as recruiting agent; in April, 1864, joined the regiment at Morganza, La; November, 1864, marched to White River, Ark; January, 1865, went to Helena, Ark., where he remained two years; then removed to Osceola, where he embarked in mercantile trade; served the city seven years as mayor and four years as postmaster; represented Mississippi County in the Republican State Convention, in 1884, at Little Rock."⁴

     Nehemiah W. Goodrich was born on 20 July 1843.¹ He was the son of Abishai Goodrich and Margaret Smith.¹

     Jane M. Hamilton married Orville Goodrich, son of Abner Goodrich and Polly Carpenter, on 18 December 1840.¹

     Jane Haley married Orville Goodrich, son of Abner Goodrich and Polly Carpenter, on 11 February 1858.¹

     Mary E. Goodrich was born on 15 October 1841.¹ She was the daughter of Orville Goodrich and Jane M. Hamilton.¹ She married David Foote.¹

     David Foote married Mary E. Goodrich, daughter of Orville Goodrich and Jane M. Hamilton.¹

     Hiram L. Goodrich was born on 27 December 1842.¹ He was the son of Orville Goodrich and Jane M. Hamilton.¹

     Hubert Goodrich was born on 2 January 1845.¹ He was the son of Orville Goodrich and Jane M. Hamilton.¹

     Abner F. Goodrich was born on 11 December 1846.¹ He was the son of Orville Goodrich and Jane M. Hamilton.¹ He died on 4 April 1868 at age 21.¹

     Nancy Goodrich was born on 1 December 1848.¹ She was the daughter of Orville Goodrich and Jane M. Hamilton.¹ She died on 16 July 1859 at age 10.¹

     Maria P. Goodrich was born on 24 June 1851.¹ She was the daughter of Orville Goodrich and Jane M. Hamilton.¹ She died on 12 October 1851.¹

     Eliza Miner married Nehemiah Goodrich, son of Abner Goodrich and Polly Carpenter, on 15 June 1847.¹ She died on 22 August 1852.¹

     Delia S. Culver married Nehemiah Goodrich, son of Abner Goodrich and Polly Carpenter, on 18 March 1854.¹
