     Elizur Goodrich was born on 5 March 1807.² He was the son of Hubbard Goodrich and Susanna Graves.¹ He married first Hannah A. Way on 20 November 1832.² He married second Jane S. Harrington on 23 1873.² He resided at Smyrna, New York.²

     Note: The marriage date for Elizur and Jane S. is exactly the way it is in Case. According to Case, they were married on the 23rd day of an unknown month in 1873.²

     Elijah Goodrich was the son of Josiah Goodrich and (?) (?).¹

     Josiah Goodrich was born on 25 July 1785.² He was the son of Josiah Goodrich and (?) (?).¹ He married Lucy Brown on 5 April 1819.² He died on 1 February 1859 at age 73.² He resided at Evans, New York.²

     Polly Goodrich was the daughter of Josiah Goodrich and (?) (?).¹ She married (?) Wadhams.¹

     Smith Goodrich was the son of Josiah Goodrich and (?) (?).¹ He was physician at Bath, New York.¹

     Anne Ellsworth married Elijah Hubbard Goodrich, son of Josiah Goodrich and Mary Hubbard, on 8 September 1783.¹ She died on 3 February 1789.¹

     Mabel Nicholson married Elijah Hubbard Goodrich, son of Josiah Goodrich and Mary Hubbard, on 12 January 1792.¹

     Anne Goodrich was born on 19 September 1785.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Hubbard Goodrich and Anne Ellsworth.¹ She died on 14 May 1788 at age 2.¹

     Louisa Goodrich was born on 1 February 1789.¹ She died in infancy.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Hubbard Goodrich and Anne Ellsworth.¹

     Anne Ellsworth Goodrich was born on 19 March 1793.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Hubbard Goodrich and Mabel Nicholson.¹ She died on 8 June 1813 at age 20.¹

     Elijah Hubbard Goodrich was born on 30 October 1794.¹ He was the son of Elijah Hubbard Goodrich and Mabel Nicholson.¹ He died on 26 September 1799 at age 4.¹

     Lavinia Goodrich was born on 21 September 1796.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Hubbard Goodrich and Mabel Nicholson.¹ She married Roswell Parish on 7 June 1831.¹ She died on 2 October 1881 at age 85.¹

     Chauncey Goodrich was born on 10 September 1798.² He was the son of Elijah Hubbard Goodrich and Mabel Nicholson.¹ He married Arabella Marsh, daughter of David Marsh, circa 1828.³ He died on 10 September 1858 at age 60.²

     Transcribed from Case: "lived on his father's farm, sometimes teaching school, until 19 years old, when he left home to engage in trade; was for some six years connected with the publishing house of Oliver D. Cooke, Hartford, Conn; went to Castleton, Vt., in 1823, and in 1827 removed to Burlington, Vt., where he established himself as a printer, publisher, and bookseller; he continued in the business of book-making and book-selling until his death. A list of his publications would include several scores of volumes, among them various writings of Bishop Hopkins of Vermont, the first American editions of writings of S. T. Coleridge, the statutes and law reports of the State, and numerous law books; besides these, he printed a good many books for New York and Philadelphia houses. His farm and fruit-garden always divided his attention with his publishing business; as an amateur horticulturist he was widely and favorably known, and probably did as much as any other man to introduce and improve the culture of fruit in Vermont and the Champlain Valley. He contributed occasionally to the periodicals on his favorite theme, pomology, and sent out under his own name a small volume on the subject, "The Northern Fruit Culturist."⁴

     Elijah Hubbard Goodrich was born on 23 September 1800.² He was the son of Elijah Hubbard Goodrich and Mabel Nicholson.¹ He married Mary Northrop Washburn on 29 December 1829.² He died on 13 February 1887 at age 86.² He resided at Hinsdale, Massachusetts.²
